Update!!!

Ok I guess it's time to add something to my blog! I need to add some pictures of Addie's room as soon as I can get around to it! We are always so busy it seems! Bennett is now 6 months old and is getting bigger and chunkier every day! Oh and I just love it! Squeezing all of his fat and kissing him all day is top on my list right next to pinning Addie down with some as well! She doesn't like it as much as him though! That being the sad part of her getting older! :(
The salon has been so busy lately and my book is FINALLY filling up each day! Which is great because it garuantees me a decent pay check each week. Naylor job is going pretty good....hes still got one so I guess thats good these days!
Mom and I trotted on up to the 119 Gym today and got a membership!!! YAY! And they have an absolutely wonderful nursery (except for that part where the nursery workers just kind of look at you) so Addie and Bennett will have a place to hang while I get some fat off! At the time we went and had our tour I noticed that the place was filled with old people which will be nice for keeping my self esteem up! ha. Back when I had a Gold's Gym membership in Auburn I was so afraid to work out in front of all those perfectly chiseled out models! So I would quickly run to the tanning bed and leave right after! So basically I paid $39 a month for some good 'ol Melanoma instead of actually bettering myself! Things will be different this time!
Addie and Bennett are doing great! Shes got some a smart mouth that shes going to get popped off if she doesn't watch it but I know I have no one to blame but myself for that! And Bennett...oh my sweet Bennett....I should've just breast fed him because hes pretty much attached like a leach to me all day as it is! What can I say...he loves his MAMA! I have actually had to teach Naylor how to hold him like I do because when he holds him his way Bennett gets really upset and looks at me and cries! Oops :) Oh but that little girl.....shes a Daddy's girl all the way! I know she loves me but she just sees me so much that I think when he gets home shes bored with me! Oh well!!! We are 2 peas in a pod thats for sure!
I gotta go and clean the house!

Bennett's Room

Beach Trip '08 - and a couple of Addie and Bennett

A little Jessica Family Background

For those of you who don't know I am 1 of 4 girls. Well really 6...with my 2 half sisters as well. Thats a lot of girls! And way too much estrogen for 1 house! Just ask my bro-in-law Joel and my husband Naylor. Or anyone in our family for that matter. In order of age and (married or maiden) name : Wendy Dilbeck ( Auburn), Candice Daniel (Savannah, GA), me ( B'ham), Meagan Daniel (Bham), Kelli and Weslee Daniel (twins- Auburn). 1st 4 of us by mom father and mother and last 2 by my father and step-mother. My mother pretty much raised us on her own working full time and a night shift nurse at Baptist South in Montg. Wendy, Candi, and I graduated from ACA and Meagan moved on to Bham with my mom after I graduated and she finished school at Briarwood. All 4 of us are SOO different. Wendy is the pleaser, Candi is the tyrant, I am the too sensitive one, and Meagan is the...well....lets just say shes the "baby." Even though we are all very different, we are close in our own unique way. I love my sisters very much and would do anything for them. We had a pretty rough life growing up but were also very fortunate as well. My have come to rely on each other as I guess siblings should. I also love my 2 little sisters very much as well! They are more like neices to me but they are very special to me regardless!

Other than that...Check on my info on Face Book

Bennett

Oh goodness....my sweet Bennett. Well...let me start by saying that we got pregnant with Bennett around the 1st of January of 2008. We decided to go ahead and start trying again because really we had no reason to wait any longer. After all...he would be our last and there was no reason is delaying it. We were ready. What provoked our decision to get pregnant again was that we had just found out that my sister, Wendy, was pregnant with her 4th! Thats right...her 4th! ( I LOVE those kids by the way...blog coming soon about them because after all, I do consider them to be like my own!) We thought it may be better to go ahead and hit my mother with the shock before the shock of Wendy wore off! Get it all out at once! And to take the heat off of Wendy! I am SO HAPPY we made that decision because after another normal, but extra tiring 9 months of being pregnant....our baby boy was born, Bennett Andrew, on September 17, 2008. We set a date to induce as we did with Addie because I was driving from Birmingham to see Dr. Ashurst in Montgomery. We went in the night before and we had him the next morning. Labor was easy and can be. Except for that part where I fainted when they put the IV in. I'm such a weany. Anyway....I thought I would have no idea what to do with a boy but I figured it out! For the 1st 2 weeks he was a perfect little angel. Never cried. Always slept. (except at night of course) But then after that it hit! Crying and crying and crying. The only way to stop it was to hold him! AAAHHH! I couldn't get anything done without this constant cry ringing in my ear! I thought I would go crazy! But then suddenly we got this new swing, that rocks back and forth, and side to side. And the crying STOPPED! It was like a miracle! I have to say...he sure made a place for himself in this family. He just wasn't going to accept being put on the back burner as the 2nd child! Not that we would have. I am happy he did what he did now. Because it really taught me how to show both of my children the attention they needed at the SAME TIME! Now Bennett is 5 months old and he is a pure JOY! We love him with all of our heart just as much as we do Addie!

Our family is complete!

Addie

Addie was born on May 15, 2006. I had a normal, easy going pregnancy, thank the Lord! Dr. Ashurst set me to be induced on that day. Simply because my youngest sister Meagan would be graduating from highschool at Briarwood in Birmingham too close to my original due date which was May 28th. After 12 hours of labor Addie was born. I swore I would never have another child after that day, having laid on my back for 12 hours straight! Only to find out of course that my labor took so long because I had laid on my back for the whole 12 hours! Oh and of course...that tiny little detail about how it was actually 2 weeks before my actual due date :) But ANYWAY... she came and she is beautiful! Only getting more beautiful and full of life every day! She is our sweet Addeline Rose. She can be so shy around people she doesn't know...just like her Daddy. But then opens up so quickly....just like her Mommy! She is an even mix between the 2 of us in both her personality and her looks. Although sometimes with her dramatic little attitude she seems more like me! Now it will only be 3 more months until she turns 3! And that makes me want to cry....really....and I have! Lots! You see I'm "that mom" who spends most of her time kissing and squeezing her children all day long! I can't get enough of them! I'm sure one day they will get tired of it. Addie already wipes her mouth off and says "Ew...." I guess I need to back off :)
Naylor is a wonderful Daddy! You can tell his whole world revolves around our kids! Addie is by far a "Daddy's Girl." Only wanting our needing me when shes hurt or when she first sees me after I've been gone or after shes been napping! Hopefully that will change. I know she loves me...but he's more fun right now! Sometimes when I watch Naylor and Addie play I can see how he really reverts back to a 2 1/2 year old and plays on her level! Which is great for her...but makes him look a little silly :)

Thats it for now! Will get Naylor to post pictures later!

The Naylors

Welcome to our blog! Naylor (or David as you may call him) and I will both be sharing this! Just a little background about us.....We met when I was senior in highschool through my sister and her then boyfriend, now husband, Joel Dilbeck. I guess you could say I had a little crush on Naylor starting back then; but of course that was TOTALLY unacceptable considering I was only 17 and he was 23, right?! And of course he had NO IDEA! Not that it would've mattered considering my age! Anyway...we were both in Joel and Wendy's wedding and I guess you could say we strayed our seperate ways for a couple of years. After graduating for ACA, I started my freshmen year at Faulkner and Naylor came with me to the my AAA / ZHO formal. The rest is history. We got married June 11, 2005. One day after my 21st Birthday :/ After a honeymoon and 2 1/2 months of marriage we then became pregnant with Addie! Some may call this crazy to start so soon after getting married; but to me it made perfect sense. Naylor is 6 years older than me. I didn't want our kids pushing him around in a wheelchair at their highschool graduation! :) Either way...I wouldn't take it back for the world! And 3 years later we have been blessed with our 2 children, Addie and Bennett.
